St. Augustine 3 DAY Thrifting Retreat Information 10/18-10/2

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

This is a 3 day event leaving from Sarasota, Florida on a luxury coach bus thrifting all the way to St. Augustine on Friday, October 18th. We will stay over in St. Augustine 2 nights (Friday 10/18 & Saturday 10/19) Hotel rooms ARE NOT included in the trip fees. 

We have blocked off Hotel rooms at 2 places for you to choose from. We will take you shopping around St. Augustine on our luxury coach bus Saturday 10/19 and to the historic Downtown for dinner and option for a Tropical Sunset Cruise. Sunday 10/20 we will check out of the hotel and shop our way back returning to Sarasota, Florida between by 7:00pm. Prior to the event we will send an email with special packing instructions along with other important information. We will also send out event reminders 1 week and 2 days prior to the event. There are NO REFUNDS for missing the bus so PLEASE READ ALL OF STEPS BELOW for important information. IF YOU ARE FLYING INTO SARASOTA, PLEASE SEE STEP #4.

EVENT & TRANSPORTATION TICKET: (3 days) Total: $345.00

The EVENT  & TRANSPORTATION Ticket includes  ALL transportation, breakfast snacks, afternoon treats and water for  3 days and lunch on Friday 10/18.  Plus,  our exclusive canvas tote with thrifting survival kits. Hot breakfast included in Hotel stays. Remaining meals on own at designated stops. Hotel stay not included. You will be responsible for Hotel room 2 nights, Friday  10/18 and Saturday 10/19/2024.  If you are sharing a Hotel room, only one person needs to make the reservation! . 

FOR THIS EVENT - YOU WILL NEED:

1. An Event & Transportation Ticket $345.00 per person  (Purchase using link in Step #1 below)

2. A Hotel Reservation in St. Augustine for 2 nights (10/18 & 10/19) Price varies 2 choices. You can share a room. Just one person needs to make the reservation. (Reserve room using link in Step #2 below)

3. We depart from Sarasota, if you need a room the night before/after our trip. (Reserve room using link in Step #3).

4. Travel Insurance.

(After buying airline tickets, if you are flying into Sarasota).

We have several boarding locations depending on if you live in the area, if you are driving to the area, or are flying into the area. Please read boarding instructions carefully on the Event Ticket Site. NO REFUNDS (Unless extreme weather conditions cancels event). TICKETs are transferrable to another person. 

3 EVENT BOARDING locations in SARASOTA going to St. Augustine. We depart Sarasota and go thrift shopping all the way to St. Augustine! Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the boaring tines listed so you are not late. We come rain or shine, please be patient if we run late due to traffic instances!

• 10/18 Boarding A: At Airport Hampton Inn if you STAY NIGHT BEFORE IN SARASOTA Board Event Bus at 7:00am Friday 10/18 Lobby Hampton Inn & Suites 975 University Pkwy, Sarasota, FL 34243 Be ready 15 minutes early.
• 10/18 Boarding B: SRQ Airport LONG TERM CAR PARKING. Board Event bus at Airport Terminal. 7:30am Friday 10/18 Ground Transportation Area at SRQ Airport Terminal 6000 Airport Circle, Sarasota, FL 34241 Please arrive 15 minutes early.
• 10/18 Boarding C: Board Event bus at TARGET UTC MALL 8:00am University Town Center Mall. Target 101 N. Cattleman Rd., Sarasota, FL 34243 (PARK AS FAR OUT FROM TARGET AS POSSIBLE). Arrive 15 minutes early.

We have two beautiful Beach Hotel choices. We will drop you off and pick you up each day of event in St. Augustine ONLY at the two approved Hotels. Please understand we secured blocks of rooms at the most reasonable rates to asure our group can be together.

Holiday Inn Express St. Augistine $179 - 2 Queen Beds Rates based on 2 persons per room.

Quality Inn & Suites St. Augustine $119 - 2 Double Beds/$129 2 Queens Beds Rates based on occupancy of 4 persons per room

 IF YOU ARE FLYING INTO SARASOTA FOR THIS EVENT GET AIRLINE TICKETS FIRST!

Be sure you can arrive in time for our departure from Sarasota on Friday 10/18-SEE BOARDING LOCATIONS & TIMES IN STEP #1. We would recommend arriving in Sarasota on Thursday 10/17 and staying at the Hampton Inn & Suites at the Airport where we will come for you on Friday 10/18. There is free shuttle service to get you from the Airport to the Hotel. You must have hotel reservations to use this service. We can not come to any other hotels in Sarasota as we are on a time schedule. We will come with our luxury coach bus right to your Hotel on Friday morning, October 18th at 7am. Please be checked out of your room and ready in front 15 minutes prior to our arrival time. IMMEDIATELY after purchasing your airline tickets come back here to Eventbrite on our website: ThriftingBusTours.com to get your Event & Transporation Ticket. DO NOT WAIT. If the Event bus sells out, we can't help you! We return to Sarasota by 7pm Sunday Oct 20th. Please give yourself enough time. Maybe stay over Sunday night in Sarasota as well. Sarasota Hampton Inn Room for before / after event.

If you are driving into Sarasota, and staying at the Hampton Inn on Thursday 10/17, the Hotel will give you a parking pass good through Monday 10/21, if you should decide to stay an additional night when we return on Sunday.
